My family and I were invited to a small birthday dinner by family friends and this is what I wore I kept it very simple. The pants and shoes are new! They were a huge bargain the shoes are my favorite, today was the first time I wore them and let me tell you they hurt my feet so bad they are a size 7 and I'm usually a 7.5 they are a bit snug but I don't care I love them should I even mention how much they cost me? The pants I'm wearing are a bit big on me I buy pants that are size 5 but in reality I'm a 3 hmmm I should probably start buying them my correct size but I swear I never learn. I know I neglected my blog for a couple of days but that's because I've been busy with trying to get ready for school, I start on Monday and I'm so nervous and scared and for those of you who don't know already I'm attending The Art Institute of California-Hollywood and I'm majoring in Fashion Design it's going to be so amazing!

Oh That Little Dress

For some reason I felt like dressing up extra cute today it was a bit chilly outside but anywho this weekend I went bargain hunting and I found some very amazing pieces that I am extremely excited about including this "dress" that is actually a skirt. If I wear it as a skirt it goes past my knees so I decided to hike it up as a cute little dress and I put a little blue metallic belt around my waist to give it some shape and on top of that I threw on my vintage yellow cardigan. With my "dress" I wore my purple tights and charcol ankle boots. Way more blogs and pictures to come in the near future!

I've actually been doing really good with keeping up with my blog usually I get really lazy and end up doing absolutley nothing productive, I serioulsy can't wait to start school I'm counting down the days, I mean don't get me wrong I love seeing my best friends everyday but it's time for me to do something . Today was spent at home just relaxing with my two best friends and my sister, we watched Mama Mia all the songs in that movie are so catchy and they get stuck in my head. Today was casual Saturday for me I'm wearing my red pants that I haven't worn in a really long time I actually made them skinny, when I bought them they had these hideous flared out bottoms, so I cut them and sewed them all by hand it took a while because I had to double stitch them, but over all they came out good. Introducing Betty my baby she's my dog her full name is Betty Vicious she's very crazy, but I love her dearly. In the pictures I'm wearing my diy red skinny pants, men's tee, my black blazer, oh and I finally got to wear my shoes yay!

So you know how I said that I was going to go through some changes well this is one of them! Today my best friends and sister accompanied me for support to the hair salon, surprisingly I wasn't nervous or scared. I'm not like other people who are emotionally attached to their hair I mean it's hair it'll grow back eventually. But the end result was amazing I seriously love my hair way to much! It's a huge change but I felt like I needed it and I'm glad I did it. My best friend Eirene got her hair cut too and it looks great on her. The insperation for my hair cut was Rihanna's hair but my friends tell me it has more of an Edie Sedgwick feel which is cool because I love her and she's gorgeous. In these pictures I am wearing a fuschia lipstick that belongs to my best friend and I wanted to see how it looked on me because I'm tan it's such a beautiful color but sadly it didn't look as great as it did on my bf since she's way lighter than I am the color makes her lips pop. Next change you'll just have to see!

So it's finally here the big 09. Hopefully this year is full of love, friendships, accomplishments, and health for my friends and family. I welcomed 2009 in sequins and red lips. My new years eve was spent at home just relaxing with my family and my best friend, it was just too much fun. This year is going to be filled with so much change for me, that's all I have to say for now soon enough you'll see what I mean.

Oh My God SHOES!

These are my babies that I haven't gotten a chance to wear them. My mustard platforms are my newest pair and also my tallest the heel is 5 in. The wedges are totally hippie which is so awesome they use to belong to my mom but she never wore them so she gave them to me and I really like them because they have a beachy hippie feel to them and they are colorful! The black and white ones my mom bought for herself but they were too small so she gave them to me they have a very classic feel to them which I like you can never go wrong with classic and black and white.

Doc Martens & Calvin Kleins

Today was a very laid back casual day. Today I brought out my Doc Martens which I love with a passion. They are a bit manly but I don't care. I bought them a while back but didn't know what to wear them with but the heck with it I wore them with black knitted tights and Calvin Klein denim shorts, you know what would look really good with it a really pretty floral skirt above the knee yay! the floral print would balance out the boots. Either way I truley love them I call them my destroyers. In the picture I'm wearing a men's shirt, Calvin Klein shorts that were thrifted a while back, black knitted tights, Doc Marten boots.
